Africa - ToTo

2016년 5월 프라하 재즈 페스티벌 중 Simon Phillips 공연을 다녀왔다.

당시를 기억하며 오랜만에 ToTo의 Africa 를 들어보자..

음악을 한참 들었던 당시 쳐달리는 곡들만 좋아하는 지라

토토의 이 달짝찌근한 음악은 맘에 와닿지 않았다..

밴드이지만 밴드 같지 않은 느낌??

컴퓨터로 짠 듯한 연주는 참으로 매력이 없었다.

이제 나이를 한~참 먹은 뒤 다시 들어보니 참으로 좋은 곡이다~~

아프리카를 가보진 않았지만 음악을 듣는 내내 그 곳을 상상하게 만드는

마력이 있는 곡임에는 틀림없다.

날이 추워지는 이 프라하에서 아프리카를 들으며 따뜻한 기운을 느끼려..

오랜만에 다시 파일을 뒤적거린다..

토토를 직접 볼 기회는 없겠지만 Simon Phillips를 보고 온걸로

만족 한다~~  *^^*

오늘밤 메아리치는북소리가들려
하지만그녀에게들리는건
나직이들리는대화의속삭임뿐이야
그녀는12 시 30분 비행기로온다고했지
달빛비친날개에는별빛이반사되고
그별은날구원으로인도해주지
길을따라가다가오랫동안잊혀져왔던
말이나고대의벨로디를발견할수있을까해서
한노인을불러세웠어
노인은내게돌아서이렇게말하는듯했어
서둘러.저기서널기다리고있잖아

나를당신에게서떼어놓기는힘들거야
백명의사람,아니더많은사람이라도절대그렇게할수는없어

아프리카는축복스러운비를내려주고
우리는이제전혀경험하지못했던경험을하며지낼꺼야

밤이저물면들개들은안절부절하며
외로운동료를찾아울부짖고
나는중요한결정을해야된다는것을알고있지
저높은킬리만자로산이나
세렝게티위에솟은올림푸스산처럼
확고부동한어떤일을말이야

이렇게까지되어놀라버린내마음깊은곳을치유해야겠어
